Part III - our travels around France

Our next stop was Saint Malo where we spent the night.  Saint Malo is a walled port city in Brittany in northwestern France on the English Channel.  It has the highest concentration of seafood restaurants in Europe.  It is a beautiful city with very narrow, windy roads.

Dinner in Saint Malo...

Bob and another coke!!

This crepe tastest as good as it looked!

Onto Mont St-Michel...amazing !

Next stop...Fougeres!  Fougeres is the largest medieval castle in Europe.

Dinner in Tours...

Our home for the next 2 nights - our own cottage!  We stayed at the Maison de la Grandmere in Vrigny which is in the middle of the Château Region.

Excellent stops here too.

My husband & I like Touraine a lot and have been to Tours quite a bit.
