Bob has been asking for tacos for a long time and I was finally able to find the "real" taco shells at Carrefour's. But, in order to add spice and heat to the tacos, I had to head over to Le Marais (about 40 minutes on 2 different metros) for some of the ingredients. Le Marais is one of the trendiest and hippest areas in Paris. Paris' old Jerwish neighborhood is here as well as romantic little courtyards, quaint boutiques and warm and inviting cafes and restaurants. The store that I enjoy going to is called "Thanksgiving" on 20, rue Saint Paul in the 4th arrondisement. It's like walking into a mini American market.
The following pictures are taken around my neighborhood. I had to go the Monoprix for avocados, meat, onions etc for our Mexican feast.
