As anyone who knows me knows, my husband snores. He snores so loud that it's impossible for me to get any sleep.
.
So after numerous tests, the results came back and ....Tom snores. Not only does he snore, but he snores a lot. He snores 544 times per hour or 4185 times per night.
.
Not only does Tom snore a lot, but he snores EXTREMELY loud. In fact, he snores 10 decibels louder than a vacuum cleaner!!! And...believe it or not...louder than a pneumatic drill!!!
.
I've tried many different types of ear plugs and a pillow over my head....a pillow over Tom's head....HELP ME!!!!

Oh la la!! You know... if Alex took the same test, I think he would get the same results as TOM!!! What could be louder than one of those drills??? I don't know... MAYBE a chainsaw?!! Not sure, but I can't sleep well when Alex snores all night long, either!!!!!
Well I know another person that "SNORES"....yes my husband, so is it a competition to see who has the loudest snorer....and if Arni took the test, it could be a close call. Arni's snoring is beyond belief...and when he is away sometimes they have to share rooms, well not anymore, no one will share with him, and believe me, he has had me in tears somenights, and everyone (his work mates) ask me "How the hell do you sleep with him" and even if I move into the spare room in the night, it is horrendous. If he is tired, had a drink....you just don't want to know. So I know what you are talking about Dawn, and it is not good!!!!!
Get a new husband.
Hey there Noëlle,
Wowww.. !
I'm glad that he's been checked because snoring can hide other problems. One I know of by a neighbor is sleep apnea. The neighbor stops breathing, a few secs at a time, all through the night. So, she sleeps with an oxygen mask !
Just be careful and take care of him.
Just be careful with these things.
Isabelle,
I don't know about that in all cases, though! Alex has lost weight over the summer and I think he's at a pretty normal weight for his height and frame... Not really overweight... but normal... and he still SNORES up a STORM...
I do agree that losing weight in general IS a good thing and a good preventative for other types of maladies! I think Tom gets quite a bit of exercise, too...
Noelle,
I can see that you've deleted my comment!
I didn't intend to offend you or your husband at all when saying that loosing weight helped reduce the snoring...
Well, I'm sorry if I did!
My husband used to snore a lot but over the past months he went on a diet and his snoring really decreased dramatically.
At least you didn't remove my comment :p
